Meet Dr. Alex Rizk

Dr. Alex Rizk earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Chesterfield Family Practice.

Dr. Rizk chose to practice Family Medicine because Family Medicine allows him the privilege of taking care of all members of a family regardless of age, including multiple generations. His special interests include Geriatric Medicine and Sports Medicine. Over the years, Dr. Rizk has appreciated how patients shape the doctor’s role by virtue of their needs and concerns.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rizk enjoys the outdoors as long as it’s above 60 degrees and fitness training. He loves that the clinics of M.D. Express are located in tourist destinations which allow him to experience a melting pot of individuals and cultures. It makes for an exciting practice.

Dr. Rizk enjoys studying the Holy Scriptures and cites 2 Timothy 2:15 – “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
